Meet Our Team!

  • Tim is a graduate of the Masters of Physiotherapy program at D'Youville (MPT). He is a Registered Physiotherapist and member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Tim began his academic career by completing his Honours degree in Kinesiology at York University. He also holds a degree in Geography from York. Tim has subsequently furthered his continuing education successfully completing the Level 1 Manual therapy at the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy, Part 1 of the Certificate of Anatomical Acupuncture from the Academy of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI), Orthotic courses (Orthotic Group), Soft tissue release (Jim Bilotta), SFMA, LILT (Meditech), Shoulder Complex (APTEI), SI Course Part 1 and 2 (APTEI), and Kinesiotape course (KTA). He is also a Certified Arcon Evaluator. He is married with two beautiful children who are his pride and joy. Most importantly he is bald but is OK with it.

  • Meera is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario since 2015 and an Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant from Humber College. She has always had a passion for health and fitness and that is what motivates her to help her patients. She believes in maintaining a healthy life style by eating right and exercising on a daily basis. She has a keen interest in performing mobilization on patients struggling with activities of daily living. Meera has expertise in analyzing and treating musculoskeletal conditions; conservative management and post operative rehabilitation. She is eager to expand her professional knowledge base and is always looking forward to taking various continuing education courses. She also does Yoga to gain a better co-ordination between her mind and body. In her free time she enjoys dancing, spending quality time with her family and friends. Gardening is something she has recently gained a fondness for.

  • Arthur graduated from a doctor of physical therapy program in the United States in 2015. After graduation, he started to practice in the outpatient field where he took part in sports related rehabilitation and treated patients with variety orthopedic conditions with manual techniques and corrective exercises. Also, while working in a sub-acute facility he treated patients who were post stroke, had spinal cord injuries and those suffered from neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. Having recently moved from the United States in Early March, Arthur is currently waiting to sit for the Physiotherapy Competency Exam in November so he can become a registered physiotherapist in Canada. In the mean time, Arthur is working as a physiotherapy support personnel.

  • Dr. Pavneet (Sona) Dhaliwal graduated with an Honours Kinesiology degree from Western University and then graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She is a certified acupuncture provider from McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Dr. Dhaliwal is an evidence based and rehabilitation focused practitioner that has experience working with various patient populations. She has worked alongside multiple orthopedic surgeons and has a niche in postsurgical rehab. Additionally, Dr. Dhaliwal has worked with chronic pain patients and has an interest in taking on the challenge of helping patients better manage chronic pain. She is an avid learner and actively seeks out attending ongoing continuing education courses and conferences, her most recent one being North America’s biggest week long pain conference called Pain Week, where a multidisciplinary team of renowned pain specialists come together to troubleshoot and educate one another on the complexities of pain management. In her spare time, Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys travelling, dancing, hiking, and creative writing. She is also fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.

  • Joelle Li is a Physiotherapy Resident from Oakville who obtained her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University in the Honours Life Sciences program, followed by her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. After having first-hand experience with physiotherapy in her youth, she developed a passion and appreciation for the field of rehab. Joelle is very focused on promoting patient/family-centred care, patient education and is keen on establishing her career by using her knowledge and experiences to enhance the quality of life for others. She plans on taking more post-graduate courses in order to learn and implement new techniques into her treatment approach. Joelle is enthusiastic about working at Restore Physiotherapy.
