Jaime holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph, as well as graduating in 2014 from Sheridan College with a Bachelors of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy with High Honours. She is thrilled to join the staff at Restore Physiotherapy as an athletic therapist.
Jaime has worked with many sports teams at the high school, university and rep levels, including box lacrosse, rugby, indoor field hockey, baseball, ice hockey, football and field hockey. She is currently the head athletic therapist for the Senior B Six Nations Rivermen box lacrosse team, who have competed in two National Championships and are
the current National Champions. Jaime has also volunteered with the developmental teams for the National Indoor Field Hockey teams and their CanAm and International tournaments. During her schooling Jaime worked with the Varsity men’s baseball and hockey teams at the University of Toronto, as well as Junior A box lacrosse, club level
rugby and girls Intermediate AA hockey.
Since graduation Jaime has worked within a private clinical setting, gaining indispensable hands-on experience and also expanding her knowledge of exercise and rehabilitation therapy. She believes in a combination of manual therapy to help heal the injured tissue
and exercise to strengthen the supporting structures. Jaime has completed continuing education courses in mobilizations with movement for the upper quadrant and maintains her Red Cross First Responder.
In her spare time Jaime enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
