Dr. Pavneet (Sona) Dhaliwal graduated with an Honours Kinesiology degree from Western University and then graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She is a certified acupuncture provider from McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Dr. Dhaliwal is an evidence based and rehabilitation focused practitioner that has experience working with various patient populations. She has worked alongside multiple orthopedic surgeons and has a niche in postsurgical rehab. Additionally, Dr. Dhaliwal has worked with chronic pain patients and has an interest in taking on the challenge of helping patients better manage chronic pain. She is an avid learner and actively seeks out attending ongoing continuing education courses and conferences, her most recent one being North America’s biggest week long pain conference called Pain Week, where a multidisciplinary team of renowned pain specialists come together to troubleshoot and educate one another on the complexities of pain management. In her spare time, Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys travelling, dancing, hiking, and creative writing. She is also fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
